The Format of Middle Eastern Names in Official Documents
Abstract
This report discusses the ways in which Arabic, Afghan, and Iranian names are written in official documents. All the examples in this report were collected from open source data such as images of ID cards and passports found on the web. The names discussed therefore refer to real living or deceased people. This document is intended to be an addendum to the following MITRE Reports by the author:
